Picks up and releases oracal 651 and other films I've used, easily. Virtually clear and it looks great for presentation. The cons: It will shrink immediately seeing the sun or average temperatures in the south. Requires to switch to a wet install. Cannot effectively do a wet install because moisture will stay trapped and will not escape no matter how many swipes with a squeegee or using a heat gun to try to dry it out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by NIFTY LLC from Wouldn't pick up my oracal 365 vinyl lettering I originally bought this to help with vinyl die cut install jobs. I had to make a simple white vinyl wording with arrows for a sign. The vinyl cut out and weeded nicely, place the R Tape on super easily, but tried to remove the letters from the paper backing/carrier sheet and it would not stick to the application tape. I rubbed it down with a squeegee even more, top and back side, still nothing. I even removed the letters one by one slowly as I peeled the application tape back and then gently put it back onto the paper carrier so that I could align the design to the sign. But, when I tried removing the application tape again, it still would not separate the vinyl from the carrier. Not sure what happened but it was a job that took way longer than need be.
