Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love our 315! I did cut vinyl for several years along with screen printing and actually had been looking at a smaller eco solvent printer at that time without pulling that particular trigger due to cost concerns for the size. We went and watched a demo that a salesman gave us in KC at Grimco one night and we were sold. We've now had and used our printer for 4 years for everything from wall art to posters to canvas to vehicle wraps and it's taken all the abuse and craziness we've doled out without a whimper. Seriously a move from a 3rd story apartment (5 guys lowering it vertically down the stairs from above) across town on a flatbed trailer with 3 guys holding it didn't phase it at all. We use the RIP that came with it, flexiprint 21 hp edition. We're looking at another in a year or 2 and we'll probably stick with hp but move up to a larger beast. Thanks Grimco for putting us together with our HP Latex 315!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my HP 315 After having a solvent printer for over 10 years, I switched to the HP Latex 315 in fall of 2017. I cant say enough good things about it, but more than anything it has been maintenance free! Besides the light cleaning maintenance it requires, it was NOTHING like the daily slog of the solvent printer. I have had zero problems with it mechanically or with the software, (Onyx RIP) I have print everything from indoor outdoor vinyl films, backlit, canvas, wallpaper and banner and consistently get the color quality I need EVERY TIME with no hassles. Best purchase I ever made for my business. And Grimco are amazing to work with. Their customer service is 5 star as well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not expect good HP support Our 315 printer had a banding issue within the first four months since we bought it. The technician came, did some work, and resolved the problem, but not ultimately. We always had banding issues with the machine. For the last three and a half weeks, we have had horrible vertical banding. HP sent six technicians already with no solution. We thought they were now trying to blame color profiles for being the cause, but they got our file and printed it on their lab with awful results. I proposed to them to bring another machine, but they refused. I proposed that they reimburse us for the losses. They refused. Now I am begging them to take the machine or offer us to buy a new one with a discount. It is a frustrating back-to-back call with infinite test prints and waste of our Avery vinyl and inks. We are still waiting for a resolution. One advice. Stay away from HP large format printers.
