Works great when they work!
I am having a printhead issue. I am having my beige colors turn pink. Also my pantones do not match the pantone chart. I replaced both of my Yellow / Magenta printheads. Then kept trying to do more testing on the colors. I called Grimco tech and spent hours messing with settings. I wasted YARDS and YARDS of good material trying to find the problem. I found a color calibration chart picture online. I wanted the Grimco tech to look at this chart compared to mine and he said there was no need since it did not matter. My printer was probably never calibrated right anyway. I spent $125 ea on 2 new print heads only to find out after I did the color calibration. It was the Light Magenta and Light Cyan that was the problem. Grimco will not refund me $125.00 for the print head because it is 2 years old and has 940 ml of ink run through it. It is an issue for HP to resolve. HP does not have a record on file of me ever buying the printer in the first place. But I can fill out the paper work if they will ever send it. I was told by Grimco to provide HP with the serial number. However it does not exist. Please keep in mind I have been waiting a year for other paper work to be sent to me also.Now the new print head did solve the pinky issue. However the pantones are still messy and not correct. Did I mention that this printer is out of warranty. I think the last time I called it would like $750. Just for an inspection on the machine to tell me what is wrong even before fixing my problem. It would not be so bad but the techs that come out in the past for unrelated issue did not even know how to operate the machine.

Great when they work for you.
I haven't even put a set of inks through the print heads. I only do a little bit of work. Of course it is just over a year from the printer purchase. Frustrating to say to say the least.

BAD PRINT HEAD
I ORDERED 2 HP 831 Printheads - Yellow / MagentaSKU HPCZ678A . Have always had great service with Grimco. As in any business, there will be issues. I replaced the new Printheads. Kept sending me an error to re-seat the Printheads. After I made an inspection I noticed there was a strip hanging. I had a big order going out Saturday. Grimco is now closed. Tomorrow Friday will be to late to get a replacement. I guess that is business.

Defective printhead
One of our new printheads that only 20 firings stopped printing cyan…even though the warranty is through June 2023… had to put in another new PH. What is the process to get reimbursed for a clearly defective PH?

Old Heads
We've purchased two Light Magenta Light Cyan printheads, and neither worked properly. I asked for a replacement as the heads were brand new. I was denied. Not sure if they were old stock, but they were useless.

My last printheads lasted years with no issues then finally started messing up so I replaced all my print heads 3 months ago and of cause they are already messing up have not run much ink through them. And of course its Friday night with large print jobs to do.

When we buy these print heads, one or two out of five typically do not work out of the box. It is not easy to contact HP and get them to replace bad ones

Need to offer better warranty
Came out not working properly color was not printing good at all. Contacted their support, and told me they could not do anything, that I only could contact HP.

the printhead we replaced was only 2 months old!
The new printhead seems to be OK,but the one that was replaced only lasted 2 months.I hope this is not the norm.
