Easy conversion. Do as much asyou can in the shop! The LED "sticks" worked well and are much brighter than the fluorescents they replaced. To avoid some wiring, buy connectors (under $3) to go from the last lamp to the power supply. I helps to assemble all you can at the shop ahead of time. It also helps to plan your lamp layout, with male and female ends placed to fall near power supplies and the next lamps in the circuit. The connectors are often not perfectly round and in the cold, they resist threading together because of that, so again, connect what you can in the warm shop before going to the job...at least in cold weather. I just did a 5 x 8 sign in one hour and took time to removed all the old ballasts and wiring, which would not have had to be done. A bit pricey.
