Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent wrapping experience I wrapped a large tow truck with this and it went REALLY well. The optical clear lamination is fantastic. Even with the challenge of taking on a large vehicle that we had to wrap outdoors and going over an older, somewhat damaged paint job, the vinyl went on virtually flawlessly. My customer said I exceeded his expectations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Pleased! We tried this out and my guys love it. Very pleased with the new, improved product. It's a little more cost effective than the other Digital print media made for wrapping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't Underestimate! Seeing how this is a newer material in the market I had to give it to my best installers to use. Granted our quality is critical to our business so I needed the best feedback from my installers to know if we could continue the use of Briteline for future projects at the shop. Initial thoughts like many reviews was the low adhesive and figured we would need adhesive promoter. As a suggestion the initial tack could be a little more tacky. Once applied however this material is on there GOOD with no promoter! Pressure and heat is all you need. Good installers will know how to use it and what this premium vinyl is capable of doing after a couple panels. The flexibility was absolutely INCREDIBLE. Very viable. We stretched about 7 inches over a curve just for a test. left it over night and exposed to sunlight over day and the material did not lift. We were impressed and will continue to use Briteline. Print quality was excellent and you can't go wrong with the Grimco print profile, but we used a custom profile for our 2019 SEMA project Thank you Jessica and Erin!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All around good, functional film Used this film for two large Toy Hauler RV trailers... Shrinks great when you need it to, air moves through it nicely when you need it to. Initial tac is at a good level and the release off the liner is very easy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Good Alternative In Supply Chain Shortages Pros: Easy liner release, Installs normal, repositions nicely, nice white point, slightly better pricing. The WrapCast Lam is 5 stars. Cons: Requires time tweaking your RIP settings to get a nice print. Prints come out faded in comparison to 1105, which can be managed with profile settings. Air release pattern is very visible. Overall, I think this is a great sorta-budget minded replacement to 1105, and IJ180Cv3, but not priced low enough for me to use as a cost saver for budget minded customers. Meaning, the pricing so close that you might as well order 1105. That said, if your only option is BL WrapCast due to inventory limitations then yes, this will get you through. The best thing about this product is the liner release, especially when you are aligning panels. If it's over 75F then 1105 acts like superglue to the liner, causing alignment stretch, but with BL the liner effortlessly peels away, which I find very helpful on warm days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Cast Wrap Film This is a good cast product, especially for the price. We have used it on commercial vehicles and trailers and have zero issues. With the low initial tack our installers have really been able to pick up their installation times getting more jobs out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Box trucks with rivets This briteline wrap film works great for box trucks with rivets. The Low initial tack makes it so much easier for one man to hang a 26 footer in a day with ease!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost as good as Avery 1105 Good material that slightly misses the mark. I think the initial tack should be a little bit more aggressive. I've noticed when paired with the highly elastic laminate, it tends to want to pull away from corners that aren't terribly harsh. (This review is for the new formulation mid 2019).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Briteline WrapCAST: A 'Value-Line' we believe in: I recently took over management of a dedicated, 4-bay wrap shop, essentially two shops rolled into one. One was a high-end custom shop with a proper wrap division, the other was a sign shop offering wraps. While merging the clientele from both shops, it became quickly apparent that the pricing history between the two was vastly different, and we needed a reliable, INSTALL-ABLE value-line to offer along with the higher-end materials. Our Grimco rep, Tyler, was keen to offer up the completely re-tooled Briteline series... to be honest, I was hesitant; We had been using some previous generation Briteline wrap material for printed, cut vinyl lettering, but not much else. I took Tyler up on her offer to try out the newly retooled material. We literally pulled off the core from the last roll of old-series Briteline and replaced it with a new one (just happened to work out that way...) After installing the new material, matte and gloss, here are my crew's impressions: 1. The vinyl itself takes good ink saturation, very little color profile modification was needed to keep client color pallets true. 2. The laminates took a bit more pressure than our premium lines, but any "starfield" bubbles laid down easily during installation - squeegee pressure alone. 3. The matte laminated material curtained a bit during install, and took a bit more finesse than our premium lines, but - particularly with the hard squeegee edge - laid in nicely. As important, the Matte Finish looks FANTASTIC: it breaks up light completely and feels like paper... exactly as a matte finish should, and is SURPRISINGLY durable. It stands up to scratches and abrasion bizarrely well. Additionally, it hides imperfections on walls (we are wrapping our entire lobby in Briteline Matte) very well. 4. The gloss laminated material lays down even easier than the matte, takes heat and stretch well, and has a very consistent finish and sheen. Light plays smoothly, and post-heating acted properly - no wilting or adhesion separation. In short, the Briteline WrapCAST line has taken it's place as our "BASE WRAP" pricing tier. Long-term durability is, of course, still on the horizon as our wraps run the roads, car washes, etc., but if the initial quality improvement (which is considerable!), the slideability, contouring are any indication, we've made an excellent decision. Props to GrimCo for seeing an opportunity to re-birth their value line, and to our rep Tyler for urging us to try it out! I'd encourage you to do the same. Eric H. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wrapcast This is a decent budget vinyl. Just don’t expect 3m and you will love it. I personally think it’s quite close to avery1105. The quality and ease of install is reflected in the budget. Will it work? Sure. Will you be blown away? No. Personally, jf 3m is available, I would choose it first hands down.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Application tape adhesion to backer is bad! The product prints, laminates and plots quite easily. Application is very smooth. However finding an application tape that adheres to the backer is a problem. Particularly challenging when producing a long graphic. If you roll the piece for easy delivery to a client, the application tapes do not bond to the backer and can distort the vinyl lettering or graphics. We have used both translucent and masking styles of tape. Both react the same way.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not so good Seems thicker than stated 2mil. Prints very good. Initial tack is OK but repositionability is poor. Requires a lot more heat and muscle than name brand films...result is more time to complete the job. Rivets lay down very nice and seem quicker to finish than name brand films. But overall a disappointment. ...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not really impressed Upon loading, we noticed that in certain places along the edge, the vinyl kept coming off the backing. Had several yards of rips and tears and a lot of frustration before we could get to usable material.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Impressed I bought the Brightline wrap/lam kit. The money you will save on this material is not worth the extra time in application. Initial tack is more aggressive than Avery 1105 and not nearly as easy to work with. The laminate is more rigid than 1360z, my preffered and requires post heating where I would not usually need to. This is a direct comparison on a fleet of vehicles that are identical. I will not buy again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from BL-WCV5410 2MIL CAST WHITE we had many issues getting this material to print properly with eco-colvent printers. When applying a thicker layer of ink, the ink does not dry out with the standnard printer heater. Had to apply external heat curing to get a good solid print that would dry but yet not band. Material transferst to the vehicles pretty well though.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a bad product but doesn't compare to Avery Will not be using this again. Not enough body to the material as compared to the Avery 1105 SC. Didn't heal form over stretching and creasing and I am used to seeing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not recommended for quality wraps We use 3m, Avery and Orajet products to wrap trailers, boats, and vehicles. We tried this product once, and will never happen again. When used with their paired overlam, the material tends to wrinkle and bubble away from each other. We utilize the same settings for this product as we do with the others we have used. The tension settings and roller tension are consistent. We reported this issue to Grimco and sent back a sample print as well as the laminate, and a sample of the job we had done. After just over 3 months we were told they denied the defect claim, but won't provide the results of the test, or how the test were conducted. If the settings were incorrect on our printer or laminator, I'm sure the 3m IJ180 would have had the same issue, yet it worked just fine and has been installed on the boat. Pay the extra and buy higher quality vinyl like 3m or Oracal. They stand behind their products · 3 years ago everytime we used this laminate, the material would "migrate", causing wrinkles and or bubbling in the laminate along one edge. I thought it was my new employee doing something wrong....but it continued to do it when i tried it. Any thoughts?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Briteline WrapCAST We have been using Briteline WrapCAST for over 2 years now and you can't beat the price point let alone the fact that is goes on very nicely and is preferred by my installers hands down over the more expensive products on the market. I have had no issue with it's durability either.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from LAMINATE DOES NOT BOND TO VINYL OR CLEANLY REMOVE BUYER'S BEWARE, you might save a few dollars purchasing this vinyl verses other cast vinyls initially but you will spend an extensive amount of time if you need to remove the vinyl down the road, costing you more time and money in the long run. We used Briteline's WrapCast material with its WrapCast Overlaminate and found that the overlaminate does not bound well to the vinyl. When you try to remove it from the vehicle surface after its been installed for some time, the overlaminate separates from the vinyl leaving behind the vinyl on the surface area. With the overlaminate no longer attached to the vinyl, you cannot cleanly remove the vinyl without the vinyl tearing into small pieces. This is unlike other manufacturer's cast vinyls and overlaminates such as 3M's or Orafol's that cleanly remove after installation. We experienced the same results with unprinted sections of the WrapCast material and printed sections of the WrapCast material. This happened with 2 different rolls of WrapCast material.
