Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Perf but needs vacuum and extra passes We used this Perf for a large window project and the material installed great. The only issue we had was when printing, on our HP we had to turn the vacuum up to 50 and increase the passes to 12. Once we made these tweaks the output looked great and the customer is very satisfied with the finished product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Briteline 80/20 I run this on my HP Latex 360 with no problems, the key is to run full vacuum and buy the 60" rolls the 54" causes head strikes, since i started running the 60" no more issues. the thick liner is nice and my hp doesn't have any problems. I did get a bad roll from grimco and backer would not come off easy, wasted time material inks job look horrible, contacted grimco and they say it was a bad roll they sent me a new replacement roll and that's it. what about all the printing and double install time grimco???

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks great. Installs well. Humidity is the enemy This perf looks great and installs well, but trying to print in high humidity is frustrating. When it is dry out it prints perfectly on the Latex 360. When it is humid out, I have to drop the heat to 180F or even lower and increase the interpass delay to 1500ms(max). Otherwise, there are tons of head strikes. Other than that I love it, and so do customers. The 80/20 provides a much more vivid/crisp print and blocks more sun than 60/40(my previous goto perf). Overall, it is a good product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Film so far! I have only printed about 80 sf so far but have noticed a few things: I like the heavy backing paper, it makes for a nice even pull on larger jobs when you are by yourself. Definitely need to print and dry 5-6 hours or overnight for best results. I printed a job (ecosolvent) and used my dryer, cut it and installed after about an hour. Unlaminated, substrate stretch can be an issue and wrinkles can happen even to the best of us. After drying overnight, great feel, great pull and laid smooth and easy. Compared to Sihl, I have to say that the BL is a little more vibrant. I think the backing paper helps avoid ink pull back on the perf holes. So far I am impressed, and the price point per/sf is great to get some really good bids from clients that can't afford much. Only peeve I have is that the roll is heavy, and while going through shipping, the box gets torn up, there were no end caps, and the ends on the roll were damaged. I would suggest shipping in a HD tube (like Duratex) although with ends taped on and with straps to lift and carry, for UPS/FEDEX to grab onto. Otherwise its so heavy and cumbersome, they just throw it, drag it, push it, shove it, roll it, and the material suffers. I know my UPS guy doesn't like me very much when I order wide heavy rolls of film, banner material, or bulky stuff, but that's why I'm not a UPS driver either.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Perf with Very Thick Liner! We have an extremely difficult time running this material through our HP360 Latex. The lining paper is extremely thick and often raises off the platen causing head strikes across the media. This leads to having to babysit the printer otherwise you will reprint panels over and over again. We have tried adjusting temperature and vacuum settings to no avail. We find that for whatever reason the 60" wide roll works much better than the 54" roll. So we will never again purchase the smaller width roll until they change the liner.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from VERY THICK! Bought this after talking to my rep. It installs nice and prints ok but its SOOO very very thick. Enough where my HP 310 printer really struggled with this. Lots of head strikes and jams. Its hard to get it to feed through the pinch rollers. Even with the side plates and being extra cautious when loading it I still had issues. Enough head strikes and i lost a printhead. I probably won't get this type again and will look for something less thick next time.
