Rated 5 out of 5 by MadLab from Incredible adaptability Okay, this is going to sound strange, but I am giving it a 5 star rating even though my project that I bought it for was a total failure. I don't believe the media was at fault, I don't think I knew how to use it properly. The project was a 9 foot high 8 foot wide wall mural on a very slightly textured painted wall. The wall was prepped properly, and we followed instructions on typical wall mural installation (I'm brand new to murals), and the first panel went up seemingly perfect. However, when we got to the second panel about half way down, none of the graphics would match up. Nothing we did would fix it. I finally figured out that the "adaptability" (the ability to stretch and mold etc" was part of it. We did the standard "set the top, pull a foot of backing down, squeegee repeat" on both panels...what I didn't realize is that it is stretchy enough that this method was stretching the material, and I don't know how to stretch it all at the same exact amount using that method. So we ripped it all off, used a material that didn't have the stretchy properties (which had its own challenges) and finished the wall. I would love to hear how others work with this material. I suspect you have to peel the backing off all at once to have the same stretch. But I do love this material for how easy it is to keep bubbles and creases out. I just need to learn to use it properly. I am not giving up on it!
