The plastic protection is sometimes a pain to remove but leaves a very clean surface on which to mount the vinyl. Cuts well with a utility knife blade.

It is rugged, but in a pinch, I can even cut it to size by hand with a straight-edge and knife. We keep plenty of this in stock!
