Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far I love this material. I have not used it extensively yet, but I do expect to. However, there IS a learning curve and some setup to do if you need to do any contour cutting on this. I'm sure others know this, but I didn't, so I am hoping to save a few people some time and maybe frustration. Not to mention saving some material--I went through about 20 feet figuring this all out. Here is MY process (no promises, this is just what worked for me) on an HP Latex 115 printer/cutter 54" - I was told to use the BL WP 50/50 printer profile, but it didn't work for me. The cutter would NOT pick up the barcode OR the registration mark. The holes showed through as too light of a gray. So I cloned the 50/50 profile and modified it (naming it WP BL 65/35) and used the following settings – 16 passes, 200 temp, 45 vacuum 600 dwell (might not be the right term). This improved the graphics dramatically as well. This worked to get the cutter to see the registration marks but it failed on reading the barcode still. Then I found a video by HP on window perf material https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJpV5UH0alo Very good video, and I did follow it, however the only way I found to change the same settings on my machine I had to go to the Cutter Tab Click on Options under the Registration Mode Box which brings up the Barcode Options--Uncheck HP Barcode, Uncheck OPOS XY Check OPOS and Select OK. Now you should only see four tiny squares in the corners. After printing I advanced the substrate about four inches before cutting it off the machine because we had to load it into the cutter so that this end was at the back of the machine, if you don't, it will cut upside down. As a final step, you do not start the job on the cutter screen, you send it from Production Manager. The cutter then asks you to position the knife over the first registration mark. I positioned the cutter and let it run and it turned out great. I was cutting 30 samples out, and I did find that by the last one my machine needed to be recalibrated for the opos. I'm sure the holes do cause this, but it was a small issue. I hope this helps others enjoy this material. *Added NOTE: AFTER cloning and making my own profile, I did find a post online that said the HP One-view Perforated Adhesive Window profile works for this material. I could not find that on the HP media site, but it is listed in my Latex Media Explorer when I go to the third tab in RIP/Driver Options/Media Management under the self-adhesive vinyl. The setting are pretty identical to mine, and also offers a 20 pass version with a little higher temp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect solution to dress up your store window This was our first attempt with window perf. It printed great on our HP Latex 315. It's very opaque from the outside but from the inside it is very clear and just looks like a window tint. The printed images are bright and vivid. It's a great looking material that will be a nice addition to our wide format offerings.
